It began with a small idea…
In the summer of 2025 in Denver, CO, Coire was teaching an A+ certification class through a local nonprofit that supports immigrants and refugees. The class was going well—until a few students started to fall behind.
It turned out the problem wasn’t motivation or ability—it was access. Some students didn’t have working computers. A few were even completing lessons on their phones.
Around that time, a friend offered to donate some older lab machines. To Coire’s surprise, they were in great shape—fast, clean, and more than capable of running everything the class needed. That moment sparked a realization: companies were paying to recycle perfectly good computers, while people in our communities couldn’t afford them.
That small idea grew into Continuo
At Continuo, we help companies save money by taking their decommissioned computers and giving them new life. We refurbish and redeploy used technology to support our community—through educational labs, digital access programs, and affordable tech for people who need it most.
We serve:
People taking online classes to upskill and find better jobs.
Job seekers who need computers to apply or train.
Families whose kids need school devices.
Newcomers staying connected with loved ones across borders.
Anyone who needs modern tools in a world that keeps getting more expensive.
Small Ideas, Big Dreams
Right now, we might be small — but we’re mighty.
Today, our focus is on getting computers into the hands of our community members. But we think big. We can’t help it.
One day, we hope to have the resources to:
Help people build affordable gaming computers.
Provide access to quality gaming consoles.
Develop secure, open-source smart home devices using reused IoT hardware and microcomputers.
Support small businesses with affordable networking and IT solutions.
As long as we can help companies save money by recycling their used tech, we can help our community become more connected, more capable, and more resilient.
If you see yourself as a part of our mission, donate your old tech, or make a financial contribution to help us do what we do. If you’re in need of a computer, let us help you the best way we know how.
